Since 1989 we have offered the best hand-roasted coffee, delicious pastries, used books, records and comics, and an engaging atmosphere to residents of Northwest Ohio and beyond.
Located in the heart of Downtown Bowling Green, Grounds For Thought provides a friendly meeting place for the community, an intimate corner to enjoy your favorite book and a drink or a relaxing table to browse the internet on our free wireless.

From campaign stumping by local, regional and state candidates to intimate concerts with world-famous jazz guitarists, Grounds For Thought offers an eclectic mix of regular music and community events. Grounds For Thought has gained a reputation as a premier venue.
We present a series of once a month FREE Sunday night concerts featuring the finest funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, rock and roll and Americana bands. With a ground-level stage, resonant acoustics and warm setting, music lovers of all genres will enjoy an up-close experience that can only be found in such an intimate space.
